Playcare is ready for the launch of the Early Years
Foundation Stage (EYFS) in September 2008.
"What will this mean for my child?"
At Playcare
children will still receive the excellent care which has long been our reputation, but EYFS will ensure your childs care and
education is carried out with a more holistic approach. EYFS starts fron birth, taking children to the end of their
reception year. It's a seemless approach.
Many EYFS principles are in place at Playcare, and have been the
basis of our ethos for many years. For example, the individual needs and wants of every child, by providing an environment
that nurtures and develops self-esteem. At Playcare we dont't use inflexible themes and topics, but base your childs fun
and learning on what they want to do; therefore communication is vital. We value parental input, as you know your child best.
